Stormchaos in Trier: Baum falls on cars - drivers seriously injured!

A sudden storm caused dramatic scenes on the Pacelliufer on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 4:15 p.m. A tree crown fell onto a Mitsubishi that drove towards Konz. The driver was caught by the massive damage to his vehicle and had to be freed by the fire brigade. He was then taken to the hospital.

But the fright was not over yet! The tree top jumped back onto the oncoming lane and crashed into a Hyundai who was occupied by three people. Fortunately, all inmates of the Hyundais remained intact. Both directions had to be temporarily completely blocked due to the accident, which led to significant traffic disruptions.
