Open day: Fire brigade Weinheim inspires young and old!

Sulzbach, Deutschland - On Sunday, the Weinheim volunteer fire department in Sulzbach experienced an impressive open house! Hundreds of visitors flocked to the vehicle hall and the garden from 10 a.m. to learn more about the important work of the fire brigade. The event not only offered information about fire fighting and technical help, but also an extensive program for children organized by the youth fire brigade.

The little visitors had the opportunity to extinguish a burning model house themselves, run on a fire truck and let off steam on a fire brigade bouncy castle. In addition, the fire brigade's support association was able to give exciting insights into its supporting role and distribute children's fire brigade helmets. Department commander Patrick Sommer and his team were enthusiastic about the great response and thanked all helpers and guests for their participation, which made the commitment of the volunteer fire brigade visible.
