On Saturday evening, unknown perpetrators sparked fiery chaos in the West of Leipzig by set fire to fir trees that were stored for disposal. The flames reached around it at lightning speed and damaged two parked cars, a garbage can and a power box in the immediate vicinity. The fire brigade moved quickly and was able to extinguish the fire, but the chaos left questions and destruction.
Fortunately, nobody was injured, but the police started the investigation into suspected arson. The amount of property damage has so far remained unknown, but the consequences of this dangerous game with the fire could be serious.| Details | |
