Tragic accident in Frankfurt: two dead in the vehicle between trees

In a tragic night, the Frankfurt am Main fire brigade alerted the emergency services to a serious traffic accident on Mörfelder Landstrasse at 01:20 a.m. The first emergency services found a vehicle that was trapped between two trees on site. Extensive technical rescue measures were immediately initiated. After an intensive rescue operation, two people could only be recovered dead from the wreck.

The Schwanheim volunteer fire brigade supported the police by illuminating the site. The entire mission dragged on until around 4:45 a.m. and demanded a lot from the 34 emergency services and 11 vehicles from the fire brigade and emergency services. The police have now investigated the cause of the accident.
