Tragic accident in Stuttgart-Hofen: Child at the Stadtbahn stop Died

On Friday afternoon there was a tragic traffic accident at the “Max-Eyth-See” light rail stop at the “Max-Eyth-Lake” district railway station on Friday afternoon. Despite the rapid intervention of the rescue workers, the child died at the scene of the accident. The fire brigade had to take extensive technical measures to recover the child, which presented the emergency services with great challenges.

Overall, numerous rescue workers were on site, including emergency pastoral care and the crisis intervention team to help around 15 people affected. In view of the cold weather, a large rescue car was also provided as a care center. The comprehensive contingent of the fire brigade and the emergency services included several extinguishing and ambulance as well as an emergency medical vehicle in order to cope with the situation as much as possible.
