In a tragic accident in Karlsruhe, a burning tank truck and a train are collided. The fire brigade was able to extinguish the flames, but the accident already demanded his first victim: one person died of their serious injuries at the scene of the accident. The identity of the deceased is currently not clear, while the emergency services broke the body from the burned -out wagon.

The 49-year-old driver of the tank claster, who was loaded with heating oil, was seriously injured and taken to the hospital with a rescue helicopter. At the time of the collision, there were at least ten passengers on the train, all of whom had suffered minor injuries and medical care on site. Alarming messages also come from two other people who may be on the train and are now missing. Relatives of these passengers are urgently asked to contact the Karlsruhe motorway police.
