Am 17.5.2025 kam es auf der B500 in Häusern zu einem Verkehrsunfall. Ein 70-jähriger VW-Fahrer wurde schwer verletzt und mit einem Rettungshubschrauber ins Krankenhaus geflogen. Zwei Mitfahrer erlitten leichte Verletzungen. Die B500 war während der Rettungsmaßnahmen voll gesperrt.

Häusern, Deutschland - On Saturday, May 17th, 2025, a dramatic traffic accident on the B500 in houses happened. A 70-year-old VW driver, apparently due to health problems, lost control of his vehicle and came to a stop 150 meters away from the street. Two passengers suffered minor injuries and were treated on site. The driver, on the other hand, urgently had to be flown to a clinic with a rescue helicopter.

The B500 was completely closed to the accident recording, which led to significant traffic disruptions. The VW was no longer ready to drive after the incident and was towed. The exact amount of property damage is currently still unclear. The police, the emergency services and the fire brigade were quickly on site to provide first aid and to secure the situation.
