Workshop fire in Lensahn: Technical defect suspected as the cause!

On Saturday afternoon, May 3, 2026, a fire broke out in a workshop building on the site of a former trike retailer in Lensahn. An attentive 76-year-old woman noticed smoke and flames around 2:30 p.m. and immediately alerted the fire brigade. Thanks to its quick action, the fire could be quickly brought under control, and there were no injuries.

The first estimates of the damage amount to around 5,000 euros. The criminal police started the investigation and suspected that a technical defect was the trigger of the fire. There were no further dangers for adjacent buildings during the emergency services.
