Fire in Lank-Latum: Two injuries after kitchen fire!

In a dramatic fire in Lank-Latum, which occurred on Sunday, March 16, around 1:45 p.m., two residents of an apartment building on Berliner Strasse were seriously injured. The flames were caused by dishes that had been left on a stove. The resident of the ground floor apartment had, while the stove plates were switched on, left the kitchen and go to the bedroom.

The Brave fire brigade was only able to save the injured woman out of the apartment and contain the fire after its intervention. The police have now taken over the investigation to clarify the exact processes of the incident.
