Two fire missions in Sonsbeck: Fire brigade saves smoke victims!

on Sunday, May 4, 2025, the Sonsbeck volunteer fire brigade took action twice. First, the emergency services were called for a fire in a residential building on Gelderner Strasse at 5:02 p.m. Fortunately, the fire had already gone before the fire brigade arrived, but the smoke had spread in the building. A resident who had inhaled smoke received a first aid on site and was then taken to the hospital.

The second assignment followed at 9:56 p.m. when a smoke detector in a house on the parking street made an alarm. However, the fire brigade noticed any damage during inspection. The 15 emergency services checked the building and switched off the smoke detector. Both missions show the rapid action of the fire brigade and their willingness to help in emergencies.
