Airplane crash at Constance: pilot slightly injured, road locked!

On Monday at 2:10 p.m., the region experienced a dramatic plane crash! A one -engine aircraft crashed into the B27 departure to the B523, presumably due to technical problems. The incident occurred south of the Mittelhardt industrial area and the machine came to a standstill on a meadow. Fortunately, the 60-year-old pilot was able to get out of the wreck with minor injuries.

The Deißlingen fire brigade was quickly on site to supply the pilot. The property damage to the machine amounts to 200,000 euros. Due to the accident, the departure of the B27 to the B523 had to be closed for around an hour, which caused additional traffic disruptions. A truly shocking event that keeps the residents in suspense!
