An incident occurred on Bahnhofstrasse, where from around 6 p.m. there was a loud amount, mostly belonging to the left spectrum. However, this group had not been registered in advance and moved towards the city center under police accompaniment. It was necessary to temporarily hold around 250 people from the emergency services in order to be able to maintain order. The situation escalated when pepper spray had to be used after the crowd had kicked against the police officers. In this argument, a 24-year-old woman was injured when she tried to break through the barrier. She was given medical help and she was taken to the hospital.

The 19-year-old participant, who behaved offensively towards the emergency services, also became known and resisted when her personal details were to be determined. It was taken into custody for the period of identity. In another incident, the same age complained about health problems, which also led to an ambulance requirement.

After the original meetings were finished, around 30 participants in the counter -demonstration continued their loud protest in an approved elevator and accompanied by the police. They moved from the lower suburb via Poststrasse to the town hall and on to Hohenzollernstrasse. After this tour, the group dissolved, while a large part of the participants of the first rally went towards Ebingen train station to travel home.

The police continue to monitor the situation and examine the presence of possible further violations of the Assembly Act in connection with the events. The use in Albstadt-Ebingen shows how important it is to maintain an ordinance and to respect both the rights to freedom of assembly and to ensure the security of all participants. The reserved handling and the preventive measures of the police seem to have been effective in this case and contributed to the fact that most activities were peaceful.
