On Saturday, August 10, 2024, numerous people gathered in Hilchenbach to express their views on various political issues. These events that took place around the marketplace reflect the variety of opinions and social currents in the municipality.

The smallest of the meetings, organized by the small party "The Third Way", addressed "left -wing extremism" and only reached 45 participants. In the blatant contrast, the largest meeting took place under the motto "Hilchenbach celebrates diversity" and attracted around 170 people. Further meetings under the motto "against the right pressure" and "Dressing Damtstrasse" also attracted around 40 or 60 participants. Interestingly, the number of participants remained among the registered numbers, which indicates a possibly split interest in the topics.
