Frontal crash in Suhl: Motor driver rams line bus - three injured!

On Wednesday morning, May 14, 2025, a shocking traffic accident occurred on Ilmenauer Strasse in Suhl. A 24-year-old driver lost control in a curve and got on the oncoming lane, where she collided head-on with a regular bus, which at that time had about 25 passengers on board. The accident attracted minor injuries for the driver, her 32-year-old passenger and a 30-year-old person on the bus.

The car that had been turned on the turn of oncoming traffic was so badly damaged that it was no longer ready to drive. A towing service took care of the car while the accident recording and the rescue work were carried out. The total damage is estimated at around 100,000 euros.
