Frontal collision on L 3349: Two drivers injured and alcoholized suspicion!

on Monday, May 5, 2025, around 3:40 p.m. on the L 3349 between Haingrund and the confluence with the L 3106 there was a dramatic frontal collision between two cars. A 56-year-old driver from Erbach and a 70-year-old man from Lützelbach collided in a sharp left turn after the older driver suddenly got on the wrong road. The impact was so violent that both drivers were injured and had to be transported immediately in Nearby hospitals.

Particularly explosive: The 70-year-old is suspected of having driven under the influence of alcohol and therefore had to undergo a blood sample. The accident site was closed at short notice for the rescue of the vehicles and cleaning the road, while the property damage is estimated at around 30,000 euros.
