On the morning of April 8, 2025, an accident occurred on the Werkstrasse in St. Wendel, in which a 25-year-old pedestrian was hit by a black car. The young man wanted to cross the street when he was suddenly hit from behind and fell. Fortunately, he only suffered minor injuries, but his glasses were damaged.

The driver of the vehicle, which is said to be between 40 and 50 years old, stopped briefly and addressed the injured pedestrian, but then continued without further help. The police asks witnesses to the incident to report to pi-wnd@Polizei.slpol.de on 06851/8980 or by email.
