Galatasaray fans celebrate championship peacefully in Mannheim!

On Sunday evening, the Galatasaray Istanbul team celebrated its triumphant 3-0 victory against KaySerispor and thus secured the Turkish football championship early. Around 2,500 passionate fans gathered in downtown Mannheim to celebrate their success. The celebrations started around 8 p.m. at Paradeplatz, followed by a fan march to the water tower, where the cheering crowd celebrated until around 10:10 p.m.

Despite the overwhelming emotions and the large number of participants, the festival went without any significant disorders. Only a few administrative offenses were uncovered, including burning fireworks. There were no offenses. The celebration led to short-term traffic closures, but the traffic impairments for individual and tram traffic were minimal. The police drew a positive record of the celebrations.
