Planned burglary in Bad Segeberg: Passers -by raise the alarm!

On Saturday morning, May 17, 2025, a 26-year-old Romanian citizen in Bad Segeberg was arrested after trying to collapse into a house in the Platanenweg. Passers -by noticed how the man moved suspiciously on several properties and alerted the police. The officials were able to temporarily arrest the suspect on site.

During the arrest it turned out that the man also had several cans of beer and a one -handed knife with him. Thanks to a surveillance video that documented his attempted activity, the perpetrator's identification could quickly be confirmed. When the resident of the house was at home and surprised him, the burglar fled. The attentive witnesses who informed the police may prevent worse - their decision not to intervene themselves.
