On Thursday evening, a violent argument among asylum seekers occurred in a park in Hildburghausen, which caused numerous eyewitnesses. This disturbing situation quickly developed when four men between the age of 22 and 29 threatened a 21-year-old with a knife. They asked him to publish his cash and cell phone.

The victim, a young man at the age of 21, refused to give in to the demands. Because of his rejection, one of the attackers used the weapon and injured it on the upper body and on the hand. This brutal escalation caused the men to finally steal the victim's money and cell phone. In the desperate situation, the 21-year-old fled towards a nearby food market in Clara-Zetkin-Straße.

The struggle for survival

After the perpetrators obtained him, a new argument broke out. The victim, in a last attempt to defend himself, reached a broken bottle and hit one of the attackers, a 22-year-old, and injured him on the shoulder blade. This moment of self -defense shows how desperate the situation was for the young man. He also fled to get to safety and finally filed a complaint with the police.

The consequences of the argument were serious. Both the attacker and the victim had to be taken to the hospital after the incident. The 22-year-old perpetrator, who was injured in the argument, was able to leave the hospital after outpatient treatment. The 21-year-old, on the other hand, initially had to stay in the clinic longer, but finally decided to leave the facility after a short time.

The role of the police and follow for those involved

Around midnight, the 21-year-old again met the group of attackers, which led to another loud argument. Fortunately, the officers of the Hildburghausen police station were on hand and were able to calm the tense situation. As a result, they secured the previously stolen cell phone.

The attackers were brought to the office, but after completing all police measures, they could be released at the instruction of the public prosecutor. This incident not only illustrates the terrifying reality of violence among asylum seekers, but also raises questions about security in communities and dealing with conflicts. Such incidents often trigger a feeling of uncertainty and underline the challenges that stand in front of the authorities and social coexistence.
