On Monday, April 14, 2025, a brutal dispute occurred in the area of the Böblingen train station, which culminated between three men in a fight. Shortly after 10:50 a.m., a passerby alerted the police when he observed the argument in the station underpass. A 40-year-old man who had previously got into a dispute with two other men-25 and 37 years old-was attacked by them and suffered minor injuries due to blows and kicks. The aggressive men threatened and insulted their victim during the attack.

The police temporarily arrested the suspects, but released them again after the investigation was completed. But the Situation continued to escalate: On Tuesday, April 15, both men who are Iranian citizens were brought up to a judge at the request of the Stuttgart public prosecutor. This issued arrest warrants for dangerous bodily harm, threat and insult and had the two in correctional facilities. The case raises questions about security in public space.
