On Wednesday afternoon, the employees in the town house Große Bleiche in Mainz were bothered by a surprising visitor: a gray parrot that had apparently strayed. It remains unclear whether the bird had an appointment with Mayor Haase or maybe sought yellow sacks after replenishment. However, the employees of the main office quickly showed themselves as attentive animal lovers when they discovered the trusting parrot, who willingly settled on the arm of a colleague. In order to supply the bird, water was offered and entertainment was provided until the fire brigade arrived.
