In the early morning hours of April 23, 2025, around 2:40 a.m., the police in Oldenburg were called to a dramatic barn fire in the city path in Dötlingen. The police and fire brigade found two closely connected barns on site - and both were already in flames.

The cause of the fire is still unknown and to initiate the investigation, the police confiscated the fire location. However, the danger is by no means averted - the flames could not only threaten property, but also the surrounding areas and frighten the residents. Fire brigade and police are on duty to control the situation.
