Brockhausweg 15, 21029 Hamburg, Deutschland - The Kirchsteinbek volunteer fire brigade in Hamburg receives a modern new building! Today the foundation stone was laid for the new fire station, which will be built centrally on the market square on Brockhausweg. The new building replaces the old building from 1877 and is built on an area of ​​475 m². A vehicle hall and other rooms are accommodated on a single full floor.

particularly highlighted is the environmentally friendly design of the new house-the roof is greened and equipped with photovoltaic modules that generate renewable energy. The technical equipment ensures high air quality, while at the same time all security requirements are met. The district manager Ralf Neubauer emphasized that this measure is an important step to improve the infrastructure and the possible uses of the fire brigade. The youth and mini fire brigade will also benefit from the new conditions. The project not only relies on security, but also on sustainable construction and future urban development. The construction is progressing according to schedule, and everyone involved is looking forward to the further course!
