Hass crime in Neukölln: Woman of perpetrators threatened and harassed!

Karl-Marx-Straße, 12055 Berlin, Deutschland - In Neukölln there was a shocking incident in the early evening that indicates hate crime. Around 6:15 p.m., a 26-year-old woman who belongs to the LSBTIQ community was insulted by two strangers on Karl-Marx-Straße. The perpetrators used insulting, trans- and homophobic expressions. When the woman tried to escape the threatening situation, the men threatened her with physical violence. In a neighboring bar she was looking for protection.

But the duo did not give up and tried to get access to the bar. Fortunately, they were prevented from doing so by other guests and finally fled. The state criminal police officer of the state protection has started the investigation to clarify the incident and identify the perpetrators. The situation remains tense and raises questions about security in the community.
