In a dramatic nightly discussion in Friedrichshain, a 36-year-old man was seriously injured and had to be taken to the hospital! The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. on Jessnerstrasse, where the man was involved in an argument with another 36-year-old. According to reports, one of the attackers hit the victim on the floor several times and stepped on to him.

The situation was observed by an attentive witness who immediately alerted the police. The emergency services were able to arrest the suspects nearby, while the injured man was transported to the hospital with head injuries. Fortunately, there is no danger to life. An alcohol test by the 36-year-old aggressor showed a value of almost 0.9 per thousand, while the 43-year-old was subjected to a blood sample. According to the police measures, both were temporarily released. The investigation into dangerous bodily harm has now been handed over to a management commissioner of the Directorate 5 (City).
