Heroic police officers: award for lifesaver in Trier!
Polizeipräsidium Trier, Deutschland - On April 1, 2025, Anja Rakowski, the President of the Trier police headquarters, honored six brave police officers who retained people from serious injuries through their heroic work. Among the honored were criminal commissioner Philipp Theis and the police commissioners Nadine Herges, Bernd Lücke, Philipp Wagner and Tim Eifler, together with police chief commissioner Michael Hersteux.
In an urgent ceremony, Rakowski paid tribute to the common, determined use of the emergency services, who probably saved many lives. "Your outstanding commitment, in which you risk your own health to help others, is anything but a matter of course," she said praising words to the officials. Their professionalism and courage prevented the residents of container systems suffering from serious injuries, which again underlines the importance of their responsibility in such critical situations.| Details | |
