Helden in Moers: District Administrator thanks brave helpers for civil courage!
Moers, Deutschland - On March 26, a 33-year-old man was arrested by the police in the city center of Moers after an attack on a young woman. The initially incoming police officer quickly needed support when he wanted to record the personnel of the alleged perpetrator. Four passers -by who observed what happened bravely stepped in and helped when arresting.
District Administrator Ingo Brohl of the Wesel district police authority honored the brave helpers on Wednesday with coffee and pastries in the South Police Guard. Although only two of the four supporters were able to take part in the invitation, Brohl also expressed his thanks to the prevented helpers in a written greeting.
