In a dramatic incident on April 27, 2025 on the A2 near Lauenau, a wedding corso came into the focus of the police. Around 6:30 p.m., several, splendidly decorated vehicles of this Korso changed lanes without warning, which made a 40-year-old driver from Bünde to do a risky evasive maneuver. He collided with a VW T-Roc that was controlled by a 66-year-old Celler.

Fortunately, both drivers remained unharmed, but the property damage is estimated at around 1,700 euros. The Hanover police have started the investigation and is now looking for witnesses to the incident. The rash maneuvers of the wedding corso raise questions about traffic safety.
