On Friday, April 25, 2025, a serious traffic accident in Telgte, at the Wolbecker Straße/Alverskirchener Strasse, occurred at 5:35 p.m. A 14-year-old young person from Telgte was on the bike path with her e-scooter when she was hit by a silver-colored car that turned from the roundabout to Alverskirchener Strasse. The impact led to head injuries among the young people who were immediately taken to the hospital in Münster.

Particularly alarming: The driver of the fleeting car continued her journey without taking care of the injured girl.
