Young driver crashes into tree: three injured in Recklinghausen!

Dramatic scenes in Recklinghausen: A shocking car accident occurred on Thursday evening at the Lohweg/Bergstrasse intersection, in which three young occupants were injured. The 17-year-old driver, who was apparently on the road at an excessive speed, lost control of his vehicle around 8:10 p.m. and bang against a tree unchecked.

The two passengers, another 17-year-old and a 16-year-old, were taken to a hospital with minor injuries. There were a total of five people in the car who belonged to a friend of the driver. Although the teenager had a driver's license, he should only have driven accompanied by an adult. The police have started the investigation, and property damage of around 10,000 euros is assumed. The car had to be towed.
