Young graffiti artist arrested: police quickly thanks to witness hotline!

A attentive witness alerted the police on Monday morning and caught a graffiti-spraying youth! Around 1:30 a.m., the witness watched a person in a bright clothing who sprayed at the transformer station on Mühlheimer Straße / Laskastraße. Immediately several police patrols started looking for the refugee.

The quick reaction of the officials paid off: they were able to temporarily arrest a 16-year-old suspect. This had apparently previously thrown away a plastic coating that was to protect it from color. On site, the police identified a black and red lettering from a football club and found several spray cans that were secured as suspected tools. Now an investigation is underway for property damage to the youngsters.
