In the school road of Pirmasens, two abandoned rabbits were discovered late Sunday evening. An attentive witness alerted the police around 10:30 p.m. after seeing the little rodents unsecured and freely walking around. The emergency services did not hesitate and grabbed the two animals with a lot of patience.

The rabbits spent the night under the protection of the police, since there was no indication of a holder until Monday morning. The next day they were finally handed over to the Pirmasens animal shelter, where they are now safe. A little animal adventure that luckily went out!
