In a shocking incident, a license plate couple from a gray VW Polo were stolen on the parking lot Rindopf in Torfhaus on May 4, 2025 between 1:00 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. The two number plates come from the Wernigerode (WR) admission district and were removed by previously unknown perpetrators.

The Braunlage police ask the population for help: Anyone who can provide relevant information on the theft is asked to report on 05520-93260. Every hint can help to hold the perpetrators into account!
