Small gardens on fire: Unknowns set vehicles on fire!

In the night of April 12, 2025, the rescue control center in the district of Northwest Mecklenburg was informed about a devastating fire in the allotment garden facility Alter Wendorfer Weg. Unknown perpetrators set fire to four vehicles, some of which were completely destroyed. The property damage amounts to a huge 104,000 euros.

Fasters quickly moved out of the Wismar professional fire brigade and the Friedenshof volunteer fire brigade to fight the flames. The extinguishing work went into the night until around 1:15 a.m. The criminal service service was consulted to clarify the cause of the fire, while the Wismar criminal police took over the investigation.
