Kreuzberg: Youth leagues flee with illegal car racing and drug discovery!

In the evening, two 18-year-olds were temporarily arrested by Section 54. The driver of a Peugeot ignored a traffic control at the Gneisenaustraße/Baerwaldstrasse intersection and fled under the influence of drugs. The rapid persecution ended when the vehicle finally came to a standstill in Mittenwalder Straße.

When searching the car, the police found a lot of drugs-including about 20 Ecstasy tablets and several containers with cocaine. All drugs were secured as evidence. Since the car also wore false license plates and was not insured, the driver had to hand in the keys. After the identity assessment, the two young people were released from police custody, but the investigation into drug trade and other violations are still in full swing.
