On Tuesday morning there was a spectacular traffic accident on the state road 1044 between Neuenstein-Neufels and Niedernhall: a rabbit crossed the road and triggered a chain reaction! The 22-year-old driver of a VW Golf Plus had to brake abruptly, whereupon a Mercedes driver, 32, stopped in time. But the 28-year-old driver of a VW Passat could no longer react in time and crashed into the Mercedes, who was then pushed against the Golf. Total damage to three vehicles and a two -hour blocking of the street were the result. The accident victims came to the hospital with minor injuries, the damage is estimated at least 15,000 euros.
A little later, a 37-year-old Tesla driver was caught at the wheel under the influence of 1.5 per thousand. After the police had prohibited him, he was spotted again only two hours later - this time he ignored a crossing police vehicle and raced directly to the officials who could only prevent a collision by quickly avoiding. The man is now facing criminal consequences for drunkenness in traffic and endangering road traffic.| Details | |
