It's an excitement! On the night of Monday, September 9th, criminal officers in Neuss arrested a 26-year-old Syrian who is urgently suspected of having mischiefed its mischief in several vehicles. At 02:00 a.m., on Selikumer Straße, the man was discovered by the investigators of the criminal police and caught in flagranti!
But how did it come about? The alleged thief, which is already known to the police and is fighting drug problems, noticed the officials in another assignment. When searching his things, the investigators found a treasure trove of prey - personal objects that he had obviously stolen from several cars. Among them was even the ID card of a damaged vehicle owner!

The investigation show that the thief did not hit for the first time. He is suspected of being active on Sunday, September 8th on the street "An der Obererft" and also on the north Canalallee. A clear case of theft! Unknown perpetrators are often targeting valuable objects in the car - be it the navigation device, a cell phone or cash. Therefore, the police are alerted and gives clear safety tips!
"Do not leave any valuables in the car! Disconnect the ignition key when leaving the vehicle and block windows and doors!", The police advise urgently. It is also recommended to park the vehicle in well -lit and busy roads or even better in a lockable garage.
