Life -threatening accident on Hülmer Deich: motor driver saved

During the night of today, a tragic traffic accident occurred on the Hülmer Deich in Goch, who seriously injured a 29-year-old woman from Uedem. According to reports, the driver was traveling with her BMW towards Weeze when she initially collided with a phone fattening. The force of the impact caused her vehicle coming off the street and plunging into a ditch. At this unfortunate moment, the woman slipped into the footwell of her vehicle and stayed there.

The alarm for the fire brigade was triggered at 1:18 a.m. and numerous forces from the Hülm fire brigade and the city center immediately made their way to the scene of the accident. Under the direction of city fire inspector Stefan Pieper, a team of around 20 firefighters was on site to help the injured driver. With united forces, they managed to free the woman out of the trapped state. Then she was immediately taken to a nearby hospital by the emergency services.
