Danger to life in the track area: man ignores warnings of the federal police
Essen, Deutschland - yesterday, on April 16, a 55-year-old man caused excitement at the main station in Essen when he entered the track area unauthorized. Civilian federal police officers had observed him when he collected 7 and 10 between the tracks, apparently looking for deposit bottles. Despite the intervention of the civil servants, the German was unreasonable and justified by his risky behavior.
The federal police urgently warns of the extreme dangers in the track area. Modern trains are often hardly audible until it is too late. In addition to the train traffic itself, electricity -leading systems and other infrastructures also represent considerable risks. The air ledge, which arises from passing trains, can also set objects on the platform edge. The police emphasize that the marked security lines must be observed in order to avoid serious accidents.
