Truck accident at Steinheim: driver without a license, high damage!

On Thursday, April 10th, there was a spectacular traffic accident with a truck and a manure trailer at 1:15 p.m. on the B239 near Steinheim. The 21-year-old driver from Höxter lost control of his team shortly before the roundabout B239/B252 in a left turn, whereupon the truck tilted on the side. The driver suffered minor injuries and had to be taken to a hospital.

The tractor and the trailer were badly damaged. The property damage is estimated at around 50,000 euros. The accident completely blocked the entrance to Lippe, which led to considerable traffic disruptions in Steinheim because traffic had to be redirected. During the accident, the police found that the driver had no valid driving license. Now he is being investigated for driving without driving license, and the vehicle owner must also expect legal consequences.
