Peine, Deutschland - in Peine, a serious accident between a truck and a cyclist occurred on May 13th at 7:30 a.m. The 63-year-old truck driver, who wanted to turn from Duttenstedter Straße to Mörikestrasse, overlooked the 45-year-old woman who came towards him.

The cyclist fell and suffered a laceration on the head. She was immediately brought to the Peiner Clinic, while her bike caused considerable damage to property. The incident once again shows the dangers in road traffic, especially for cyclists.
