Under the motto "Together for Germany", around 100 participants gathered at the castle, while around 500 people from the counter event "Koblenz together against fascism" at the main train station made mobile. The police had to intervene quickly, because several incidents occurred during the elevators.

It became particularly explosive when an information stand by the AfD on the Löhrrondell was damaged by 30 to 40 counter -demonstrators. One person injured himself slightly. In addition, glass bottles flew towards the police, which led to a dismissal for a perpetrator. Blockades by hooded people in Clemensstrasse led to minor injuries to three police officers, but they remained in service. During the demonstrations, numerous identities were checked, over 50 references were issued and 17 people were detained. Despite the high potential for conflict, the police were able to prevent violent disputes through targeted measures and thus ensure a peaceful course of the events.
