Möwen-Man with rolls: Police stops wild feed festival in Bremerhaven!

H.-H.-Meier-Straße, 27568 Bremerhaven, Deutschland - An unusual incident caused excitement in Bremerhaven on Wednesday morning, May 7th! A 39-year-old man was caught by the police with a box full of rolls and a bike in Flagranti when he tried to feed seagulls on the dike. Passers-by had repeatedly reported on the "Möwen-Man", who regularly supplied the feathered friends with fresh bread.

The police, alarmed by the numerous reports, started an assignment at 5.40 a.m. and provided the "Möwen-Mann" on H.-H.-Meier-Straße. A clear warning went to all animal lovers: feeding wild animals, including seagulls, is prohibited in Bremerhaven! In the event of violations of the local law, sensitive punishments of up to 2,500 euros threaten. An urgent appeal to everyone to respect nature and not to feed wild animals!
