Moped accident at Heldburg: 16-year-old injured, driver escapes!

In late Wednesday afternoon, there was a traffic accident on the country road between Heldburg and Gellershausen, which involves two 16-year-old moped drivers. The front Simson driver suddenly reduced his speed, which tries to overtake the moped driver who follows him. Suddenly, however, the adolescent initiated a turning maneuver, which led to a collision of the two vehicles. The moped driver suffered minor injuries.

After the accident, the 16-year-old left the scene of the accident without taking care of the injured driver. The property damage to the mopeds remained low, but the incident raises questions about the responsibility in road traffic.
