On Monday afternoon, around 12:40 p.m., a serious accident at St. Tönis occurred. A 69-year-old motorcyclist from the Netherlands collided on Hülser Strasse with a car of a 44-year-old Duisburg woman. The motorcyclist, who came from Krefeld, wanted to turn left into the Krefelder Weg - but he overlooked the oncoming car, which had the right to drive straight ahead.

The collision was violent and the motorcyclist suffered serious injuries. The police are now investigating the exact circumstances of the accident and has blocked the scene of the accident to ensure the safety of road users.
