A serious motorcycle accident shook the northeast motorway junction in Dortmund on Monday evening. At around 7 p.m., a motorcyclist fell in a curve and remained seriously injured on the guardrail. Despite the rapid reaction of the rescue workers, a rescue helicopter landed on site, but the injured person did not have to be transported.

The Dortmund police have used a traffic accident team that carefully examines the circumstances of the accident and all traces. The junction remained closed until 9:50 p.m., while the investigators worked on site. Witnesses of the incident are urgently sought.
