Accident in Freren: Motorcyclist suffers serious injuries

A tragic incident occurred on the B214 in Freren on Monday afternoon when a 72-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured. The accident was the result of a collision with a Mercedes driver who turned left onto the L56 and overlooked the motorcyclist.

The 52-year-old driver of the Mercedes was on the way towards Thuine at around 3:10 p.m. when the accident passed. Despite the intervention of the rescue workers, the motorcyclist suffered serious injuries, while the driver of the car was unharmed. The property damage incurred is estimated at around 8000 euros.
