The police in the Höxter district has added a fresh wind and a lot of new energy in their ranks. On Monday, 14 new police officers were welcomed, all motivated and with the desire to become part of this authority. This is not only an occasion to celebrate, but also a sign of the attractiveness of police work in this region, which is characterized by the commitment and appreciation of the population.
The greeting took place in the auditorium of the Höxter district, musically accompanied by an ensemble of the State Police Orchestra North Rhine -Westphalia, which gave the celebration a festive setting. District Administrator Michael Stickeln was particularly pleased with the selection of the new officials who had deliberately chosen the Höxter district police authority. This shows that the police are not only a job here, but is also regarded as a desired authority.
Details for the new setting
September 1st in North Rhine-Westphalia traditionally takes place to the police authorities. This year, the Höxteran authorities welcomed seven young police commissioners. These young people have successfully completed their studies and are now ready to take their first steps in their professional life. The highlight of the ceremony was the solemn oath that the new officials made, which symbolizes the start in their honorable service.
In addition, seven experienced colleagues have decided to switch from other authorities to the Höxter district. Many of them have had many years of experience and thus bring valuable knowledge into the new setting. For some of these new officials, this also means returning home, which further increases their motivation and also strengthens the team spirit in a personal way.
During the welcome event, the advantages of the Höxter district were also highlighted. Police director Christian Brenski and District Administrator took the opportunity to clarify the new police officer how important it is that the population brings confidence to the police. Sticking said: "In this region it can be easily and safely live." This brings an additional responsibility that will take over the new officials with their work. You are now part of a team that ensures that this feeling of security continues to exist.
With their future tasks, challenges that require courage, commitment and responsibility await. The district administrator wished the new colleagues every success and urged them to pay attention to themselves while working into their new life as police officers.
