Bruchsal, Deutschland - Oliver Hiller was officially introduced as the new head of the Rüchnschaft department in Bruchsal. In a solemn ceremony that attracted numerous guests, police vice president Bernd-Michael Sorg emphasized the challenges of the riot police and praised Hiller as a competent boss who "learned the commitment from the Pike".

Hiller takes over the position after the retirement of Volker Weinstock on April 1, 2025. The experienced police officer returns to his former place of work after a long career, which began in 1987, where he had worked as a group leader since 1991. Its impressive career includes various management positions, including head of the Pforzheim South Police Review and the Use Staff area at the Pforzheim police headquarters until 2025.
