New police center in Spandau: Modernization for the future!
Charlottenburger Chaussee 67, 13587 Berlin, Deutschland - The Berlin police opened a new multifunctional building, "House 11", on the site of Charlottenburger Chaussee 67 in Berlin-Spandau. The impressive building of around 8,500 m² is used as a permanent alternative accommodation during renovation work in surrounding police buildings. With an investment volume of approx. 30 million euros and a construction period of only 19 months, the project was completed according to the plan and offers important logistical support for the police.
Senator Iris Spranger emphasizes that this new building is a crucial step towards modernizing police buildings. Police President Dr. Barbara Slovik Meisel emphasizes that "House 11" creates a modern working environment that is necessary to attract new specialists for the capital police. The high standards for energy efficiency and modern equipment with a service and logistics center for police candidates are further highlights of the building.
"Haus 11" is part of a larger plan to build three alternative buildings for the police in order to handle the renovation work more effectively and without interrupting the police company.
